Music has always been an important part of the Church’s sacred rites. Anytime we give worship to God, music is a fundamental means of nourishing, expressing, and strengthening our faith, as well as touching our soul. Music also becomes a means of predisposing us toward receiving grace so that we maybe grow in holiness.
Sacramental Music
Sacramental occasions often call for special music. Musical choices include consideration for liturgical and pastoral content as well as individual and community preference. The Director of Music Ministry can assist you in planning musical selections that are conducive to prayer, as well as liturgically appropriate.
